We want to warn you about the Halikos Group and John Halikos.

In December 2007, we signed a preliminary contract with the Halikos Group for the construction of a house. All details were agreed upon with the company’s representative. Construction began in 2008, the house was completed in August 2010, and all dues were paid by September 2010. Despite this, the company began to cause significant difficulties with signing the notarial deed.

Our colleagues recommended the Halikos Group company to us, and our cooperation was successful – until the Halikos Group received all payments. The septic tank was placed on the ground instead of in the ground, the house and doors were painted the wrong color, light fixtures with fans were not installed, and there was no ventilation in the bathrooms. The roof was not properly secured, and the walls and furniture in one of the rooms began to grow mold. You can „admire” the quality of the workmanship in the photos below.

There are also discrepancies between the tax payments we paid into Halikos’s account and the amount the company transferred to the tax office.

The most interesting thing is that „our lawyer,” who lives in Kalymnos and, as it later turned out, knows John Halikos, failed to send us a copy of the page showing how much Halikos transferred to the tax office for our house. It turns out it was several thousand euros less than we paid!!!

They never settled this money with us!!!!

Working with Halikos Group cost us a lot of extra money, problems, and stress.
